| I had Ewart 2nd semester. I feel like she over-glorifies the books we read.
I still say that A Tale of Two Cities is more boring than reading about the structure of a leaf.

Lies. A Tale of Two Cities was boring, the movie was ok, because there was violence, though. I liked the Circle of Magic series, which I read when I was younger, and never read Tris's Book... I read all the other kids' books, but hers wasn't in the library. I liked that series. I also liked A Series of Unfortunate Events, because it was cute.

| Reading novels on a computer screen really kills your eyes.
I'm already reading two books at once, and now I have Haruhi to read. And on top of that, school... ~_~
Darn Kyonko has to make me like the Haruhi series again.
EDIT: Yay, I got the light novel.

| The Jungle by Upton Sinclair
After having to read it and write two major essays on it, I have grown a liking to the realism and imagery that Upton deploys to convey his message for social change. Ironically, people thought food was much more important then politics so it was the food laws that were changed, not the government.
Surprised no one has said Twilight yet.

| twilight was such a good book. I read it; i like the first novel that was in 8th grade. Then people started becoming obsessed with it; then i lost interest. Then the movie came out; and i wasn't impressed. | |

| My aunt's a total Twilight fan.
I'm not one to judge a book by its cover at least not literally, but I tend to steer clear away from things with vampires in romantic situations.

| I love all The Vampyre Chronicles by Anne Rice. And I used to have book discussions on it but then Twilight came out -_- Also I love Anne Rice's books because in them Vampires burst into flames in the sunlight, just like nature intended them to. | |
