| Original Net Anime!! This means it's sent directly over the internet before they go and try to air it over the television.

Here's a small thing about it.
So.. yes, it's only on the internet for now. It comes out every two months, so it'll e finished in a year with 6 episodes. What do you guys tink about it so far? XP

| Yea. You can only tell they're robots because they have rings over their head. But in Time of Eve, a restaurant, there are no rings, which.. is against the law, technically. The restaraunt is a place where there's supposed to be no discrimination between the two since there is discrimination outside the world.
Inside the restaruant, they're just like regular people, which is kind of creepy to the kids who went inside, because.. now they don't know who's who, which makes them question a lot.
They actually have the episodes up on the site, since they're all being published through the internet, though, they are in Japanese >.> so if you want the English subbed ones, you'll need to download them, more than likely.

| I know about Chobits, I haven't watched it, but it's a different premisse, but it has sort of the same background idea, but in a darker sense. Not that the movie/show is really that dark.
Only the second episode has come out, so far.

| Well yeah, I could see that Eve seems more serious than Chobits. But I like these kinds of robot x human relationships, so I'll watch it later when I feel like it. | |

| Hmm, this seems interesting. I like the whole idea of the no discrimination between humans and robots along with the whole dark side of it. I want to see the next one.. in two months. <.< | |

| Oh wow, I just watched it, and it's pretty interesting. Probably the most interesting anime I've watched in months. (I've been hocked up on Pokemon and Soul Eater for the longest time. Dx)
I wants more.
EDIT: Ha, just finished the second episode, now I'm really liking it. Too bad they're only 15 minutes each. :<
Waiting two months for new episodes is going to be a pain. =_=
EDIT2: Oh, and it seems that the first six episodes are only the "first season" as dictated on the official site, not sure why they put it in quotes though. D:

| Thanks for showing meh. ;D I've actually been re-watching it a few times. I usually don't do that. EDIT: For those who haven't watched it, don't click on the spoiler for obvious reasons: - Spoiler:
I find it odd that someone would actually program an android (or more likely, most or all the androids) with such human emotions, as Akiko has obviously shown capable of being.
And although it was understandable, it felt a bit A-hole-ish of Rikuo to rip Sammy's hair tie off.
He gave such a cute name to the her too (or did one of his parents name her?).
And if all androids act like Akiko and Sammy (hiding their personality), does that mean they're all putting up with being treated like tools?
If so, then the androids in the series are philosophically no different from a human, imho. (Individuality or awareness of one's self is the essence of the soul, and thus is what makes a person human, or at least sentient.)
Hopefully the show doesn't end up like the prologue of The Matrix and have the androids brutally take over the world. But this series is more subtle than that, so that probably won't happen. Perhaps in the end, the androids generally get treated more like individual beings instead of tools.
And by the looks of the end of episode two, it looks like whoever programmed the androids purposely gave them individuality, or something that can grow into individualism. Which makes the purpose of the androids deeper than just being handy tools.
Crap, I'm thinking waaaay too much into this. >____>
It's things like this that make me love this genre.
Ugh, the next episode comes around December? The waiting's going to be aggravating. =__=
