| It sure took me a long while to get into this series. Idk why I didn't watch this beautiful gem earlier. But I guess it's better to be late than never. I love Osaka. Everything she does is so weirdly adorable. I think she became my favorite character the moment she talked. I was watching the English version, so she was talking in a Southern Belle accent, which I like.Mr. Kimura is my second favorite. His face is funny. Discuss: - Do you like it or no? - Favorite character(s)? - Favorite scene/episode/etc? - :3 | |

| I watched it up to Episode 17 I think, after which the file formats didn't want to play on my ipod, so I couldn't finish it. Haven't gotten to the end of it yet, and its not really on my have-to-finish list.
It is a pretty interesting slice of life anime, but I find it much too slow for my tastes. I don't remember it much, so can't really comment on it. However I do remember I liked Tomo Takino... and the creepy perverted teacher that had a square mouth.
I would place Lucky Star over Azumanga anyday as a better slice of life series, but that is just me.

| I find the characters more interesting. Especially Osaka. The humor is interesting as well. I feel that Lucky Star relies a bit too much on moe and references. And I like slice-of-life series to be more slower-paced, I think it feels more relaxed like that.
I'm only on episode 10 and I've already put this as my favorite slice-of-life series.

| Duuuude. Waaatch it. Osaka isn't even introduced until episode 2. She's the best. | |

| Please, "Weird" is such a crude term. I'd prefer "Normalcy Challenged" or "Questionably an Extraterrestrial".
Besides, all great characters need to have their eccentricities. Osaka just has an abundance of it.

| I just checked out The omnibus from Largo library. Which is every volume of the Azumanga Daioh manga in a giant book form. I love it. | |

| I bought the omnibus for myself. I always have it at my desk, even though it gets in the way a lot since it's the size of a dictionary. | |

| Yeah I mainly got it for my sis to read cause
1.She loves the Azumanga Daioh anime. She wastches it whenever we see it on demand 2.She HATES reading with a passion. Hence her reading level is low. But recently I've been able to at least get her to read manga, which is better than nothing.

| Well, tell her to read Yotsuba then too. It's by the same guy who did Azumanga Daioh. | |
